Youth and Family Coalition

The North Sound Youth and Family Coalition (YFC) is one of 10 regional Family, Youth, System Partner Round Tables (FYSPRT) committed to creating an opportunity for youth and families to share their experience as a way to improve the behavioral health system (mental health and substance use disorders). The YFC works to identify needs in the North Sound region (Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom, Island & San Juan Counties). The goal is to improve outcomes for youth with behavioral health needs. The YFC brings unresolved issues and needs to the Statewide FYSPRT with recommendations.

Mission & Vision of North Sound YFC 

YFC's mission is to provide a safe place for youth, families and system partners in our region to bring their voices together to identify, improve and strengthen our behavioral health system.

YFC’s vision is to impact and provide leadership to address challenges and barriers faced by the behavioral health system by family & youth in our region.
